Math:

Keep reviewing multiplication tables.

Mental math (MM) can be found toward the back of the Home Instructor Guide. You should spend no longer than 10 minutes on MM; students do not need to complete the entire exercise. 

Grammar:  Please review any grammar concepts that may need extra practice.

   

Composition:  Final papers will need to written in cursive.  

Please find the checklist in your child's campus binder in the comp. section.  Please check them closely for spelling, dress-ups, complete sentences, paragraph indents, etc.   Reminder: each vocabulary word from the current lesson that is used in the rough draft is worth 1 extra credit point each (3 points possible).

Reading:
We will continue reading "Little Pilgrim's Progress".  Please ask your child to orally narrate a summary of what they read and engage in a discussion with them.

Science:   The answer to the science review quiz can be found in the digital teacher's book on page 176 & 180.

Science Project: The science project will start being assigned next week on the blog.  The project will be due on May 7th.  We will be having a small science fair in which each of the students will present their projects.  You are welcome to attend.
Memory:

Please spend time during your school day to work on our school wide scripture, 'Song of the Settlers' poem, geography map & song, history timeline song, Organic Chemistry poem. Feel free to get creative and practice these in the car, at bedtime, or during meals.
