Math:
Please
continue to review all math facts. Addition, subtraction,
multiplication, and division. This can be accomplished with flash
cards, math apps, or math games.
Composition:
We
are on week three the climax and resolution. This week we will be finishing Pecos
Bill Rides a Tornado. Monday we will complete just the climax and resolution
part of the KWO. They will write the rough draft Tuesday. On
Wednesday, they will add part three, the climax and resolution, to the part one and two
final draft. They will start a new paragraph and indent then start
adding part three, the third paragraph.
Continue to practice proper
formation of cursive letters at home. Writing on notebook paper, rather than
handwriting paper is new for some students this year. Please help your student
with this transition.
Science:
The answers to the quiz can be found in the teacher's guide pg 104 & 108. Continue to practice the "States of Matter" poem.
History:

This book will need to be a classical book and an appropriate reading
level for your child. Here is a

reading narration options every Monday over what they read the previous week.
Memory:
Please spend time during your school
day to work on our school wide scripture, quarter 2 poem, geography map &
song, history timeline song, key dates, and States of Matter poem. Feel free to get
creative and practice these in the car, at bedtime, or during meals.
