Math:
Please continue to review all math facts. Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.  This can be accomplished with flash cards, math apps, or math games.

Composition:
We are working on another three week paper.  This week we are starting Pecos Bill Rides a Tornado.  Monday we will complete just the setting, characters, and background KWO.  They will write the rough draft and final draft of this section only this week.

Continue to practice proper formation of cursive letters at home. Writing on notebook paper, rather than handwriting paper is new for some students this year. Please help your student with this transition. 

Science:
The answers to the quiz can be found in the teacher's guide pg 96.  Continue to practice the "Periodic Table" poem.
History:

Reading:
Between now and Christmas we will have a classical read of your choice,  This book will need to be a classical book and an appropriate reading level for your child.  Here is a link from the Fortis Website of classical books.  They will be turning in a reading narration every Monday over what they read the previous week.  A reading narration is similar to a book report.  I will be sending home a template for the students to write their narration on.
  
Memory:
Please spend time during your school day to work on our school wide scripture, quarter 2 poem, geography map & song, history timeline song, key dates, and Periodic Table poem. Feel free to get creative and practice these in the car, at bedtime, or during meals.
