Composition:
We are combining our three papers, Benjamin Franklin, Louis Braille, and Thomas Edison, into a three paragraph paper this week and next. We will start on Wednesday with a new topic sentence and start coping the Benjamin Franklin paper. Thursday they need to skip a line indent and start coping Louis Braille. Monday we will skip a line and indent and add Thomas Edison. We will then add a final clincher.

Wednesday - Write new introductory sentence, copy Benjamin Franklin
Thursday - Skip a line and indent, copy Louis Braille
Monday - Skip a line and indent, copy Thomas Edison, add a final clincher.
Tuesday - Finish FD, parents look over FD to make sure everything is labeled and underlined. All dress-ups, decoration, sentence openers, and topic and clincher sentence highlighted in each paragraph.
All FD are to be written in cursive. If your child is still struggling with cursive. Reading
We are continuing "Little Pilgrim's Progress"  this week.  We will read this book through the end of the year. We will be completing a character diary on this book.  Your child will write an entry everyday about how they would feel, think, what they might do if they were on the same journey with Christian.  Each day they read they will need an entry about what happened that day and how they would feel or what they saw, ect.  The entry needs to be at least three complete sentences.  They will be making three entries every week.

Composition:
We are completing our third one paragraph paper about men who changed the world. I will be keeping the written paper once they are graded. I will send home a graded checklist.

Monday - Complete KWO, brainstorming page
Tuesday - Oral retell from your outline, write RD, parents proofread.
Wednesday - Start writing the FD.
Thursday - Finish FD, parents look over FD to make sure everything is labeled and underlined.
All FD are to be written in cursive. If your child is still struggling with cursive.
