Last Day of School Assembly:
We are doing a play about Soft Rain. Please help to find an Indian/soldier costume for your child. The kids are working very hard on the play it is going to be wonderful.
Field Trip:
Permission slip and money are due on May 2nd.
Science Project:
The science project started this week on the blog. The project will be due on May 2nd. We will be having a small science fair. You are welcome to attend.
Math:

We will be going to the Mad Science and Bob Bullock Museum
on May 7th. We will be
leaving promptly after assembly. We will
be taking the church van. We will be at
Mad Science from 10:00am to 11:00am. Then
we will be traveling over to the Bob Bullock museum. There are picnic table outside were we will
eat lunch. Then we will visit the Bob
Bullock from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. At this
point we will travel back to school.
Parents are welcome to join us, however you
will not be able to go to the Mad Science because they only have room for the
students in the class. You will be able
to join us at The Bob Bullock Museum.
You will need to pay for yourself and any other children that may be
will you at the Bob Bullock Museum. If
you have any questions, please let me know.

Keep reviewing multiplication tables.
Review any concepts that may need additional practice.
Grammar: Please review any grammar concepts that may need extra practice.
Composition:
Final
papers will need to written in cursive.
Please find the checklist in your child's campus binder in the comp. section. Please check them closely for spelling,
dress-ups, complete sentences, paragraph indents, etc.
Reminder: each vocabulary word from the current lesson that is used in the
rough draft is worth 1 extra credit point each (3 points possible).
Reading:We will continue reading "Little Pilgrim's Progress". Please ask your child to orally narrate a summary of what they read and engage in a discussion with them.
Memory:
Please
spend time during your school day to work on our school wide scripture, 'Song of the Settlers' poem, geography map & song, and history timeline song. Feel free to get creative and practice these in the car, at
bedtime, or during meals.
