Journal Entries:
Journal entries need at least three complete sentences to answer the question.  Journal entries will be completed in Bible, history in the black composition notebook that was sent home.

Complete one hour of Aleks math per week.

Remember to complete the addition math fact page everyday.

Grammar:
In grammar this year, we will discuss synonyms and antonyms when creating our improved sentences, but we will not be doing the vocabulary in the Shurley English.  On all test the vocabulary synonym and antonym section will be omitted.  Vocabulary will be done through IEW.

Composition:
This week we will be writing our first paper.  The schedule will be Monday KWO, Tuesday write rough draft, parents proofread and make sure everything on the checklist is in paper.  Wednesday start writing final draft.  Thursday finish final draft.

Reading:
Continue reading "Mr. Popper's Penguins" this week and adding to the timeline.

History:
We will be learning 12 key dates during the year.  We will be leaning 3 dates a quarter.  At the end of the quarter there will be a quiz.  The quiz will be accumulative as the year progresses.  The dates are listed in the campus binder under the science and history tab.
