Math:
MF (math fact) practice will be completed daily. The previous week's completed sheets will be collected every Monday for a homework grade. You will need to set a time for 6min. If not finished draw a line where they completed to and have them finish the MF practice page for that day.
We are continue to work on our multiplication and division through the 9's family.
Composition:
We are introducing a topic sentence and clincher this week. I will go over this on Monday in class but if you need to review it is on page 79-80. Every paper going forward will need a topic sentence and a clincher.
Monday- KWO, Brainstorming page, introduce vocab words
Tuesday- Oral retell, write RD, parents proofread and help with corrections, make sure everything from checklist are included in the paper, review vocab words
Wednesday- Start writing FD in cursive.
Thursday-Finish FD, parents look over for any mistakes and everything from the checklist is included.
Turn in Monday
All FD are to be written in cursive. If your child is still struggling with cursive. In the link below you can type their RD into the space and it will create their RD in cursive and they can copy in the line below. Select the option from the picture below. We will be learning 12 key dates during the year. We will be leaning 3 dates a quarter. At the end of the quarter there will be a quiz. The quiz will be accumulative as the year progresses. The dates are listed in the campus binder under the science and history tab.
