Composition:
We are introducing a topic sentence and clincher this week. I will go over this on Monday in class but if you need to review it is on page 79-80. Every paper going forward will need a topic sentence and a clincher.
Monday - Complete KWO
Tuesday - Oral retell from your outline, write RD, parents proofread.
Wednesday - Start writing the FD.
Thursday - Finish FD, parents look over FD to make sure everything is labeled and underlined.
All FD are to be written in cursive. If your child is still struggling with cursive. In the link below you can type their RD into the space and it will create their RD in cursive and they can copy in the line below. Select the option from the picture below. If you have any questions, please let me know.




History:
We will be learning 12 key dates during the year.  We will be leaning 3 dates a quarter.  At the end of the quarter there will be a quiz.  The quiz will be accumulative as the year progresses.  The dates are listed in the campus binder under the science and history tab.
