CLT Testing:
Next week the students will be taking the CLT. The test will take two days to complete and will last approximately half of each school day. We will complete part one, take a small break, then complete part two. While this is low stakes testing, it is important that your child come to school each day on time and prepared to do their best. Please make sure that your student is well rested and has eaten a good breakfast.

Please bring quick, easy snacks, a filled water bottle, and a book for your child to read if they finish a section early.  Any snack that requires a spoon or fork, such a yogurt or fruit cups, should be reserved for lunch. Your student’s snacks should be packed separate from their lunchbox so that they can quickly access them.

Math:
The math test for chapter 14 would be scheduled for April 29th, the same day as the CLT.  I do not want the kids to have to take a math test the same day.  We will be having a chapter 14 and chapter 15 combined test on May 6th.  May 4th will be a review day of chapter 14 and 15.  I will send home the test B for both chapters.

Composition:
All FD are to be written in cursive. If your child is still struggling with cursive. In the link below you can type their RD into the space and it will create their RD in cursive and they can copy in the line below. Select the option from the picture below. If you have any questions, please let me know.
