Review the definitions of the parts of speech. This can be confusing when they are trying to match these on the test.
Composition:
The goal for this week is to learn a new style technique: a sentence opener. We will are starting the "Ant and the Grasshopper" this week. We will spend two weeks on this lesson.
We introduce lesson 5 vocabulary words this week. Vocabulary quiz on Wednesday will be over lesson 1-4 words.
Reading:
Continue reading "The Cabin Faced West". We will be completing a fiction book poster on this book. The book review will be due on 9/20.
History:
