Math:
We will begin bar modeling this week. Bar
modeling videos and resources can be found here:
Remember to complete the addition math fact page everyday.
Grammar:
In grammar this year, we will discuss synonyms
and antonyms, as well as go over vocabulary laid out in Shurley English in
class. The students will not be tested on this, however, as we will focus
heavily on the IEW vocabulary.
Composition:
Oral re-tell of KWO can be done with parents,
siblings, animals, friends, grandparents, stuffed animals, etc. We introduce
lesson 2 vocabulary words this week (there weren’t any for Lesson 1). Students
will be quizzed periodically on vocab words. All quizzes will be cumulative. Be
sure to review these at home.
Reading:
Continue reading "Mr. Popper's Penguins" this week. We will be having discussion, comprehension question and other activities that will contribute to their reading grade.
Science:

Please spend time during your school day to work
