IEW lesson 14 Amazing Animal homes pg 103-104. Teach pg 103-104. Write an introduction sentence and then copy the final draft of the beaver paper. Place the new FD in the campus binder to bring to school on Wednesday.IEW Continue Final Draft. Finish beaver section if not completed in class. Valentine's Party
We will having a Valentines party on Feb 13th during the last 45min of class.  Mrs. Nix has sent out a sign up genius for snacks.  Students may bring Valentines to pass out to each classmate.  Below is a list of students in our class.

Students will also need a mailbox or bag for collecting Valentines from their friends. Be as simple or as creative as you wish! 

Composition:
We are continuing a topic sentence and clincher this week. I will go over this on Monday in class but if you need to review it is on page 79-80. Every paper going forward will need a topic sentence and a clincher.
Monday - Complete KWO
Tuesday - Oral retell from your outline, write RD, parents proofread.
Wednesday - Start writing the FD.
Thursday - Finish FD, parents look over FD to make sure everything is labeled and underlined.
All FD are to be written in cursive. If your child is still struggling with cursive. In the link below you can type their RD into the space and it will create their RD in cursive and they can copy in the line below. Select the option from the picture below.
