Historical Dress Up Day/Masquerade Ball:
Historical dress up day will be October 30 this year.  We are going to have a masquerade ball to end the day on the 30th.  We will be studying Louis XIV in history.  On Monday October 23rd we will be making paper a mask for history.  I will keep them for the next week when we have the masquerade ball.  They can use the mask that they make in class or if you want you are welcome to buy one.  I will tell them they can decorate their mask to match the costume they are going to wear if they want.  Costumes must be in the theme of our historic studies this year, which will cover The Holy Roman Empire (1550) through the World of the Forty-Nine(1850).  Costume Guidelines: No weapons, no gore, nothing scary, students need to be able to move and sit properly and use the restroom on their own. Have fun thinking of ideas.
