Read New Structure - Summarizing a Reference. Complete Structure Practice pg 88. Memorize the topic-clincher rule. Read and discuss "Leif Eriksson."
Complete vocabulary practice pg 90. Practice saying the topic-clincher rule. Complete Style Practice pg 89. Start writing FD.
Write FD. Highlight the key words Eriksson, ,discovered, America in the topic sentence and clincher sentence. Remember to underline and label the style elements and vocabulary words. Paperclip or staple the checklist, FD, and RD together.
