Reading
We are starting "Little Pilgrim's Progress"  this week.  We will read this book through the end of the year. We will be completing a character diary on this book.  Your child will write an entry everyday about how they would feel, think, what they might do if they were on the same journey with Christian.  Each day they read they will need an entry about what happened that day and how they would feel or what they saw, ect.  The entry needs to be at least three complete sentences.  They will be making three entries every week.

Composition:
We will be completing a one paragraph paper about men who changed the world over the next three weeks. The fourth week we will combining the three papers into a three paragraph report. I will be keeping the written paper once they are graded. I will send home a graded checklist.

Monday - Complete KWO
Tuesday - Oral retell from your outline, write RD, parents proofread.
Wednesday - Start writing the FD.
Thursday - Finish FD, parents look over FD to make sure everything is labeled and underlined.
All FD are to be written in cursive. If your child is still struggling with cursive. In the link below you can type their RD into the space and it will create their RD in cursive and they can copy in the line below. Select the option from the picture below.
